ABK110- Mermaid Bay

The townhome was perfect base camp for all our family activities!! Staff was super helpful with fishing and extra activities! We will be back!

Great stay! Enjoyed the events that were offered to guests along with the game room. The room itself was wonderful. Could have used a couple more spices and soaps offered, but it wasn’t a big deal. Also, the wrist bands were a little annoying because we have 2 small kids and having them keep them on all week was impossible. Other than that it’s a great place to stay with fun activities and a great location.

Great place! Very clean and accommodating for our family. We will be back!

This is the second time I stayed at this property and still love it as the first time we went . Very comfortable, very well decorated, the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. The beach is very close about a block and a half away. There is a small supermarket nearby and the prices are reasonable if you don’t want to go to the city to buy food. This is our favorite place now and we’ll be back as many times as we can .

Wow! We stayed at Mermaid Bay over Easter weekend and it was so peaceful. We came down from Austin and brought our niece and nephew who are starting a new family. The rooms were decorated so tastefully and my wife enjoyed cooking a great big breakfast the next day in the fully equipped kitchen. The walk to the beach is quick and you’re on the road that has paths, or you can just drive over and park on the beach. We did some fishing off the pier of the Aruba Resort (which Mermaid Bay is apart of) and also spent several hours hanging out poolside, and catching the breeze and sunset from the decks. We will be back!

Loved our time at Mermaid Bay. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The Aruba Bay property has something for everyone (and there's so much to do in nearby Corpus Christi). Nearby restaurants are great--I highly recommend Brooklyn Pie Company for pizza and La Palma for Mexican food, as well as Doc's and Snoopy's. The staff at Aruba Bay were accommodating and helpful with everything. The only thing that didn't cooperate for our Spring Break trip was the weather but we'll be back when it's warmer and less windy.

We recently stayed in Mermaid Bay. We had a great time and the townhome was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and all kinds of kitchen gadgets to prepare meals. The townhome has 3 full bathrooms which is a must! The ocean is within walking distance and if you want to drive and park on the beach the permit is only $12.00 for the year. The amenities are nice with two heated pools.  One with slides and the other with a splash pad.  The Kokomo Yacht Club has a game room with table tennis and air hockey. It also has a work out room, two large balconies to hang out on and  boat docks with a fish cleaning station! I definitely recommend Mermaid Bay for a fishing/beach vacation!

We loved Mermaid Bay!  Perfect location and the front desk service was great. Pool and all the amenities were fantastic. We will definitely stay there again and recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you for the great time and service.

We stayed in Mermaid Bay for a few days in July 2022. What a wonderful place. The townhouse is very nicely decorated as in the pictures. Very comfortable too.  We were 8 adults and one child  and we all slept very comfortably. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. It  also has a small patio to hang out . The beach is about two blocks away.  You can either walk or drive and there is a parking lot and we never had a hard time finding parking spots. There is a nice pool with slides and they have activities every night,  like karaoke, s’mores, etc. There is a supermarket very close to the condo about 6 mins away by car and some restaurants about 6-9 mins away. We are definitely  going back.  We absolutely love it!!

The beach was very close ( two blocks away) and we had no problems with parking . There is a supermarket nearby and restaurants within 6-9 mins drive .The pool was very nice too and they had activities every night (s’mores , karaoke , etc). I definitely will come back to Mermaid Bay!

Our stay at Mermaid Bay was a splash! The townhome itself is beautiful. It has a very fun and cozy feel and the decor is very fitting for a beach house! Loved that the kitchen came with everything needed to make a nice meal. Beds are comfortable and linens are nice and soft. Townhome is a short walk to the beach. The pool at the club house was nice and heated so a late night swim was great. The club house offers activities on different days to keep everyone entertained during their stay. Our group had a great time overall and we will be booking mermaid bay again in the future!
