VBP923- La Jolla Shores

Really enjoyed our stay! Other reviews from a few years ago mentioned cleanliness as an issue, but the unit was spotless. Bedrooms were large and it was great having 3 king beds since there were 3 couples. The other beds (a bunk bed, pull-out couch and a day bed with a trundle in the living room) don't offer much privacy, but that's to be expected, and it was really nice having all the bed options since we had a few friends join us for a couple of days during our trip. Kitchen was well-stocked in terms of the number of pots/pans, plates, etc. Other reviews also complained that there weren't spices and other kitchen supplies like foil, tupperware, etc., but after reading the reviews when we booked the unit, we knew to bring supplies with us. In addition, grocery store is fairly close so it's not a big deal if you need anything. There is a hose to wash off feet right outside the front door, and despite leaving our shoes on the porch, floors got sandy. The stick vacuum isn't the greatest, but definitely took care of the keeping gritty floors to a minimum. We didn't really have any problems, but management response to a couple of questions was almost immediate, even outside of normal business hours--very impressive. Overall, the unit was great. Short walk to the beach, pool right outside the door--the pool temperature was really nice vs. the warm bathwater that you might expect in August. Check-out was really easy--the only thing they asked us to do was to bring the trash to the dumpster and start the dishwasher. There were very few issues, so the following list are mostly comments on how to improve an already great experience.1. The fan in downstairs bath didn't work.2. There was only one kitchen towel and one wash rag--having a few more would be helpful. There were plenty of bath towels and washcloths in the bathrooms, but it would be nice having a couple more hand towels so you wouldn't have to use a big towel for your hair. 3. There were plenty of plates and other dishware, including a whole set of plastic dishes. There were a limited number of plastic glasses--having a few more would be great, especially if you spend time at the pool. 4. Cookware quantities were fine, but the majority of it was non-stick and largely scratched. This isn't surprising since this is a rental and a lot of people use metal and hard plastic in them, but it's not particularly safe. When the pots/pans are replaced, I would suggest replacing all the cooking utensils with silicone ones. As long as you get ones that have a core of a harder material, these are great, and definitely extend the life of non-stick cookware.5. We didn't go to the beach that much during the day because it was too hot and we didn't have beach chairs and/or a tent. I wouldn't expect a rental unit to have these, so this is just a suggestion for future guests if you prefer the beach to the pool. The sand gets too hot to walk on comfortably, and will definitely burn dog paws, so unless you get a permit to park on the beach and have a tent for shade, it's not safe to bring dogs there during the day.6. There is a poop bag stand at the end of the driveway as well as on the beach. Unfortunately, quite a few dog owners don't clean up after their pets--a universal problem--but it's nice to have. Be careful of letting your dogs walk in the foliage off the path to the beach. There are a lot of stickers and we had to pull them out of paws a few times. 7. Check-out time is firm at 11:00 a.m.--the door entry code changes then, so make sure you do your last walk through before shutting the door. 8. There are 2 parking spots right behind the unit. There is also a labelled guest parking spot, plus parking next to the fence if additional spots are needed. The location of the designated spots was very convenient because we were able to open the window in the master and pass items through it when we arrived and departed. Especially convenient if you have heavy items like coolers.8. It might be a good idea to include some additional details such as bringing your own spices, etc. in the unit description since some people don't read through all the reviews. This could reduce the negative comments and increase the unit's rental score. We will definitely rent this unit or others managed by Premier Gulf Coast properties in the future. Thanks again!

This stay exceeded all of our expectations. From booking to making changes to our initial arrangements, they made it easy and provided excellent customer service. The home itself was phenomenal. Perfect location (very close to the beach), quiet, and so very spacious and comfortable. We cannot wait to book our next stay here!

Excellent accommodations.  Price was fair.  The townhouse was very well maintained.  Also, PGCP has an excellent cleaning crew.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, the service was outstanding and My family really enjoyed our stay. Hopefully, we will be able to spend more vacation time there. Thank you, it was perfect!!

Spent two months from Jan 15 to March 20, 2022. Everything was ready when we arrived and the place was spotless. Naturally there were a few snags when you stay that long but Jennifer from guest services and Lisa from housekeeping took care of any issue we encountered immediately. Believe it or not with double paned glass and a solid front door we never heard anything from the people at the pool which was right outside our front door. It's a short stroll to the beach which was great (right up until the Spring Break crowd arrived. Just had to remember we were that age once.) Already booked for next year and can't wait to get back. Great location, very clean.

We had a great vacation except for the rainy and windy weather. We would have loved to spend more time at the beach but that didn’t happen. La Jolla Shores was great  and we all enjoyed our stay. I loved that despite the weather we were able to keep ourselves entertained with the tabletop Pac-Man game or watch movies. I  noticed  the description said there was a waffle maker  but there wasn't one. Luckily, I brought mine. Stay was great otherwise and we would stay here in the future for sure.

La Jolla Shores is perfectly located (15s walk to pools) or a 5 minute walk to the beach (car/truck if you are hauling stuff). There are a few small restaurants around and the location is amazing. The properly is in great shape, the kitchen is well stocked, and the sleeping arrangements worked well for us.

We really enjoyed our stay in La Jolla Shores. I have already referred it to several people.

There were three couples in our group. We all had a king bed and a bathroom. The place had room to spread out and to be together! It was close to the beach and we were able to come and go to the beach as we wanted. It worked GREAT for us!! We would definitely stay there again!!

La Jolla Shores is a great and roomy condo! Our family met up here and it was wonderful! 9 beds, game area, spacious living room & kitchen fit our big family perfectly! Fantastic pool with splash pad right outside the door! Adults & kids all loved it. Super close to the beach (.25 miles). We walked and drove to the beach. Staff was very helpful & accommodating. We'd definitely stay again!!

Highly recommend La Jolla Shores! The townhouse was so nicely decorated, clean, and very spacious. We had a really great time and kids also enjoyed the pool.

There is something for everyone in this comfy and well appointed townhome. We had 3 generations of family staying over a long weekend. There was plenty of space, a first floor bedroom and bathroom for the older folks, a fun loft/gameroom for the teens, the pool and splash pad just steps from the front door and the beach was an easy 5 minute walk. The property managers, Lisa and Jennifer were always quick to respond to questions. We will certainly consider staying here again!

Everything was just as expected and more! I could not believe there was a beach at every street we came to! Loved the pool and kiddie pool! The on site playground was a hit with the kiddos too.

We had an amazing time at La Jolla. The location was great, walking distance from the beach. Also accommodated our big family! Everyone had somewhere to sleep. Hospitality was great too, and Jennifer who I believe helps out the owner, was just a text away. Everything was clean and we all felt at home. Definitely going to rent here for years to come with our family!

Beautiful relaxing home . My family and I enjoyed our stay so much that we  were even wanting to extend our stay . Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Walking distance to the beach! Condo is right in front of the pool. Kids had a blast in the media room. Balcony has a nice view to the pool and the sunset views in the evenings was just the cherry on top. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Very clean and great customer service if I could give it more stars I would :)

My family and I loved this place! It was in a great location, very close to Whitecap Beach. The townhome was very nice and clean. I definitely recommend this La Jolla Shores!

We had a wonderful time at the coast and best of all in this unit. We were able to check in early and enjoy the day without any hick ups. The place was clean and well stocked. We only regret not getting to the Island more often. Thank you Lisa and Jennifer for your outstanding customer service... See you next Easter!

The price was higher than what I wanted to pay, but this was my daughter-in-law's first pick. We were NOT disappointed. Totally loved how clean it was, the beds and the set up was so comfortable for all of our family, and the décor was bright and beautiful. We will consider this management company and this townhouse again when we plan our next family get together. Thank you.

Unit was very welcoming, spacious, bright. Location is great and pool at the front door was a treat. Cleaning and office staff are responsive to needs and provide excellent service.

Absolutely loved this Airbnb and will be booking this place when I come back with a big group in the future.

We had such a great time at this location. It was clean. Everything was provided to make the stay a great one. Walking distance from the beach. The pool was so nice and clean. The televisions in all the rooms were so nice. Enough room for our family. And Jennifer was extremely helpful with any and all of my questions. We are already looking forward to our stay again next year!
